At the end of her meeting with the Prime Minister, the French Telecom regulatory body official explained that she came to Lomé to attend the French-speaking regulators (FRATEL) meeting, which was held at the initiative of ARCEP-Togo.

Ms Laure de la Raudière seized the opportunity of the meeting to exchange views with the Togolese Head of Government on telecoms issues, the quality of telecoms networks services, and Togo’s digital transformation for the benefit of businesses and citizens. Ms de la Raudière praised Togo’s digital transformation, with key administrative agencies going paperless, notably the civil status and digital identity agencies.

She recalled her discussions with the Director General of ARCEP-Togo during his visit to France on the regulation of the telecom sector in France through data, quality assurance for services provided on the ground, access and coverage of mobile networks to allow citizens to compare offers and the quality of operators.
