Office of Prime Minister’s staff extends season’s greetings to the Head of Government

On Friday 10 January 2025, the Office of the Prime Minister’s staff extended their best season’s wishes to the Prime Minister Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé in her office in Lomé.

The Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, Mr Etsri Homevor, presented the season’s greetings on behalf of the staff. He wished the Prime Minister good health and success in fulfilling government actions, in line with the vision of the President of the Republic, HEM Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, as set out in the 2020-2025 roadmap.

“On behalf of the entire staff, employed in the Cabinet and the General Secretariat of the Government, we wish you personally, your family, and your dear ones, good health, inner peace, joy, success and prosperity. May the Almighty shower his grace and blessings on you as you pursue with typical determination and efficiency the highly important mission entrusted to you by the Head of State, H.E.M. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé on 28 September 2020 and renewed on 1 August 2024,” said Mr Homevor.

He reiterated that the entire staff remains committed to pursuing their work with determination, loyalty and speed.

In response, the Head of the Government Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé also extended her best wishes to her staff.

“I would like to thank you all for the best wishes you have expressed to me. On my part, I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year 2025. I wish you personally and your dear ones, good health, inner peace, happiness, and success,” indicated the head of the government.

The Prime Minister highlighted the progress made by Togo in several sectors. Such progress has been achieved thanks to the dedication of the Office of the Prime Minister’s staff.

“Your determination has been instrumental and critical in achieving the results set out in the government’s roadmap. Everyone has been a precious link in the chain. From the gardener to the cleaner, the gendarme, the policeman, the secretaries, the drivers, the IT specialists, the communications staff, the accountants, the chargés de mission and the advisers. You have all contributed to the progress we have made in our country. And I must thank you most sincerely. What a pleasure working with you! Thank you once again for the quality of your support, and indeed I owe you thanks for your constant availability,” she continued.

Finally, the Head of the Government urged the staff to work to preserve peace and security by supporting the dynamic actions undertaken by the Head of State.
