The two personalities spoke about the economic and social issues between France and Togo. Paris and Lomé wish to strengthen their cooperation in social areas.

“We considered that it was necessary to increase exchanges between the active forces of our two countries. Togo is in the process of operationalizing its economic and social council. I chair the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council, I also chair the Union of French-speaking economic and social councils and we have agreed with the Prime Minister as soon as the CES of Togo is effectively installed, we will increase contacts and exchanges to strengthen confident cooperation between our two countries in the interest of our populations. “, specified Mr. Beaudet.

According to the provisions of the organic law, the economic and social council is responsible for giving its opinion on all questions brought to its examination by the President of the Republic, the government, the National Assembly, the Senate or any other public institution.
